For the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic we endeavour to conform to the guidelines established by the BC Centre for Disease Control and BC Ministry of Health that apply to Places of Worship.
Our implementation actions outlined as follows:
- We will have just one service at this time with no break for coffee. The service will run from 9:45 to 11:00. The communion service will run the regular 9:45 – 10:30 followed by a time of sharing/prayer/singing.
- Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to during the meeting.
- As per the guidelines, a maximum of 50 people will be able to attend the meeting.
- Rows of chairs in the sanctuary will be set at six feet apart and families will be grouped together.
- The morning greeter will stand outside (no hugs or handshakes) and the front door will be left open.
- Upon entering the sanctuary there will be a sign indicating the sanitizing station.
- Hymnals and chorus books will be stacked on the greeting table for individuals to pick up.
- Disinfectant wipes will be provided in each of the two upper bathrooms. Congregants are asked to use wipes and paper towels to disinfect hot spots after use of the facility.
- The basement will be inaccessible for use during meetings. Kitchen access only for usher to prepare the communion table.
